I picked up this sign yesterday as part of a collection of items. I am guessing that it from an old Shell station due to the sign colors. It is SSP and is about 18" by 12". Is this sign from the 1920-30's and what would be fair value on it in its current condition.

Not as early as you want to believe. Same signs were used in Bulk Plants, Transfer Station, Shipping, etc.

IMO,
Colors look correct for Shell, but size doesn't look correct for a station.
NO VIOLATION WILL BE TOLERATED is not something you'd find on a Station sign. Chemical/Fertilizer or Transfer station Yes.
