Good morning gang, -8 with wind chill of -20 here in DeKalb Illinois. Wind just relentless out there. Came out here in my garage to make sure the boiler in the in floor heat was okay which it was. Listened to a young guy at my buddies Shell station yesterday say " Al Gore is right" The climate is changing. I said no this is what I remember as a kid IT'S CALLED WINTER. We just got lulled into a few mild winters in a row. Glad I retired from the University and like KW can work in the warm garage all day. Heck it is warmer in my garage than the house. Would recommend in floor heat to anyone. Fell asleep out here last night with that 85 degree floor heat coming up thru my chair and woke up at 2am!! Gettin old! All of you take care that have to work outside , it is really dangerous. Keep warm all and safe, Rob

Good morning gang!

I had ski patrol last night and it was cold. The hill ended up closing one of its lifts due to high wind at about 5:30, so I an other patrollers had to go out and sweep and close the runs that were no longer accessible. I just walked in the patrol room to warm up when my radio went off saying that the other lift was getting shut down as well due to the wind. The patrol shift leader noticed that my face had some frost nip starting, so he made me stay in and he went out. Cheeks are a little red this morning in a couple spots..

I am warming up my plow truck so I can go clean up a couple drifts that I am sure came off the roof of the bowling alley. It should not take me too long.

Have a good day everybody and stay warm (except you Dick)!

FREEDOM oil items wanted.

Balmy 11º this morning, sun trying to pop out. Don't have to go anywhere except for dinner and have plenty to do around the homestead. Workin' on my 2nd cup of Joe to warm me up for a little hike down to the Lake to see who's Fishin'. Life is Good!

Stay Warm everybody. smile

Seasonal here in Alberta with temps of 27 this AM and NO wind. Looks to be a great day out there. However out east of us in the Prairie Provinces and the Midwest those are some nasty temps. Have a warm day out there.

6 degrees here, picked up some firewood and I'm off to the shop to do some fiberglass work on my 63 corvette. Going to clean up and get my pumps dug out. Stay warm and have a great day. Ted

Good night everybody,
Glad your OK Ryan.
A warm wind has been blowing since the sun went down. 58 degrees right now and it feels great. Blew all the fog away and the stars are beautiful.
May God bless us all,
Mike
