Hi All,I just picked up a Model 50 Oil can cabinet. It holds 50 Quart cans Does anyone know When these were made? I can't find much on these at all. It Has Stainless Top and Sides.Thanks

Not familiar with a Smith oil cabinet, are you sure it is not one of these:

Thanks Jack,I think it is from the 1960's or later. There is one on ebay in Atlanta that looks like it. I just picked up two of them and I am trying to learn their Vintage. They hold 50 cans each.There is a sticker inside that reads Model 50, "AO Smith" Erie ,Pa..I have found very little info about these cabinets. The only picture I have seen similar to the two I have is on ebay. for a rather "Robust"
price!

AO Smith purchased Neptune, who had purchased Erie. Erie was located in Erie, PA. This is probably where Smith was making pumps in the 1960s. I'll take another look, maybe I can find something on it.
