Heading out of here in a few hours and will be in Winnipeg tomorrow. Gotta visit a few people, look at a couple collections and take in the auction on Sunday. Road trip!

Don't worry, lots of us watch the auction houses and we know about most long before they ever come up. Knew about this one long before it was ever listed and knew most of the quality pieces that were coming. See ya there. ;-)

Wow if that is correct, it has to be a record price for that sign.

Craig there were a few OGers there, hopefully they can post some results of the "bigger" items. It's unfortunate that the auction company doesn't post their numbers and have not since I have been watching their site for the last 2 years. It may take a day or two as many in attendance were from out of province and are travelling back today/tomorrow.

I wasn't there but I made a few inquiries and got these numbers!

The globes sold for $7500 and $6500

The double pump went for $15K and the Red Indian oil rack was $11K

Wow. That is amazing - I guess that auction did not slip under the radar.

That twin was in pretty rough shape as I recall and far from complete... Makes the one I bought look like a great deal.

Auctions in Canada seem to attract a very good audience and prices seem to be really strong.
