THE GUIDE TO GAS PUMP RESTORATION by Scott Benjamin/Wayne Henderson is not yet available. They are putting the finishing touches to the book, then it goes to the publisher.Their GAS PUMP COLLECTOR'S GUIDE is still available through this website, as is Jack Simm's excellent AN ILLUSTRATED GUIDE TO GAS PUMPS. You can go to this sites main menu and check the section for books. You can also order Jack's book directly from him.

Dwaine, I can't answer if Scott or Wayne have ever restored a pump. And I don't see how a book can be written telling a first timer "how" to restore a pump step by step. You take it apart, do body work/other repairs, prime it, paint it, and reassemble. Hey...I just wrote a book. Seriously, each pump is unique in its "problem" areas and they are all gonna be different. If Scott or Wayne have NEVER touched a pump themselves, their knowledge and contributions to this hobby is immeasurable. I am thinking the book will be a revised/updated version of their first gas pump book or a very similar format.

It is my understanding that Scott and Wayne have enlisted an experienced and well known restorer of gas pumps to provide much of the content and photos for the upcoming Gas Pump Restoration book. And that it will not be a re-do of their Gas Pump Collectors Guide.
