Just finished my first auto restoration. This '86 F150 has been in my family for three generations, and it had fairly low miles, so I thought I'd restore it over the winter. Not a show quality project by any means, but makes for a great summertime daily driver. Even though it's 27 years old, the air blows cold, all electrical stuff works (windows, door locks, radio, lights) and since it's a half ton, it's a fairly smooth ride. 100% of the work was done by me: media blasted from trim down, welded in new repair panels in outer box and bottoms of doors, new front fenders, stainless trim buffed, epoxy primer and 2k urethane single stage paint (yes, I wore a good respirator). Happy with how it turned out. Makes me appreciate those body guys (and gals) who do near perfect work - truly an art.

Here are after and before pictures.

Thanks for the nice comments. Now to hope the drivetrain lasts for a while, and that no Michigan whitetail deer decide to jump at it!
