Wes Nilson Obituary

Im sorry to report that Wes Nilson has passed away.
After a quadruple bypass and severe infection as a result, the suffering is finally over!
He died Sunday and the wake will be help friday 3/1 from 5pm to 7pm.
Wes was my best friend. He taught me alot about antique advertising and doing shows. He ALWAYS had time to help people or answer questions.
The Hobby truly lost a Good Guy! RIP my friend!

The corner at peotone will NEVER be the same! smile

Tom and I shared many good times with Wes. He truly had some amazing stories, most of which can't be told in a family venue. He was good man. The hobby lost a classic. I will miss him.

Sad to hear this, but Wes has had some tough times with health issues. Rest in Peace. The hobby needs more guys like him.

Years ago I encouraged him to write a book about toy gas stations. He was the most knowledgeable guy I have met about them.

Tom--My condolences on the loss of your good friend. I know he meant a lot to you because of the way you talked about him!
We're all headed down the same path but it doesn't make it any easier when you lose someone you really care about!
Rest in peace Wes!

Sorry to hear of the loss of your mentor Tom. I was at a funeral today for yet another friend of mine, the second in the last 3 weeks, held at the same church. Makes the times and memories more special as we reflect on life. My thoughts are with you and his family.
