Has anyone used proxybid?
Tired of the scammers on flea bay, just thought I would try another route. Saw some interesting signs on their Peoptone auction.

Someone on this site recommended Turlock last weekend and got a couple of nice original signs

I wont use proxibid unless it is for mattews auction. The reason why is that I once bought an item for my girl friend for Christmas from an auction company in CA. I paid to much for it but she wanted it so I felt that her being happy on christmas was worth the extra money. I won the item on Nov. 16 and by Dec 16 I still had not recieved the item. I contacted the auction company two times then finally filed a paypal case against them and then they just decided to finally respond by giving paypal a tracking number for an item they shipped the day I filed the paypal case.

Needless to say I was very upset, the item did not get here on time for our Christmas and when I got the item it was fake. Because of that and another time when I recieved another fake item I will not bid on there unless it is with Mathews.

I've used proxibid before with no complaints.

It's my opion thou that it will be less likely to find "sweet deals" and you have to be a little more of an active bidder if you want something is since there is no end time.

The Peotone auction is with Matthews and Proxi Bid does all their auctions. I've never had a problem and Dan Matthews will always stand behind his stuff

Proxibid is only as good as the auctioneer holding the auction. Proxibid with Matthews Auctions will charge prevailing rates, be honest with bidding and ship promptly with realistic rates for well packed shipping. For other auctioneers, it is best to check out recommendations from others who have had experience with them.

Ditto on proxibid with Mathews top notch auction co. We have bought with other auction co and had terrible results. But it was nothing against proxibid just the auctioneer.
