is this from the 1960's? or is it earlier than that. Its a paper label, so i thought it was a 1960s era.

I am unable to make out the address, usually printed at the bottom. If it does not show a zipcode.....it will be pre 1963? Soldered seams, I think, were still being used in the 60's? Paul www.severngaspumps.com

I think they are earlier than the 60s, I thought they were used in the 40s... Any can experts have an idea??

There is no zip code on it, but there is a mark that says "vl-10-5" made in usa. october 1950? i guess it would have a zero after the five in that case, no?

In GP Restoration guide the Chevron logo with the three bar chevron is being used on pump plates and decals from 1955. It may have been usd on other Standard oil applications much earlier.
PM Thunder, isn't he the Standard/Chevron expert around here?
