I lucked up today and a friend gave me an old embossed Weight Limit 5 Tons sign from a local bridge. I was hoping someone could give me an idea of its age and value. It is painted, Black and white, 18"x24" and in pretty good shape. See attached photo. Thanks in advance.

Probably worth $40-50 from the 70/80s probably?

I was reading online that the embossed painted ones were from the 50's. By the 70's most states had gone to aluminum with reflective stickers.

I don't know about that old, I have an embossed stop sign I thought was from the 70s
