This seller is in my favorite sellers list, not because they sell gas items but because they sell higher end art deco items and 1930's movie star memorabilia, both genres that I collect. I have purchased these types of items from them in the past. I will say a porcelain sign is out of their realm of normal auction items and quite possibly they are not knowledgeable on this type of item. I can't say if the sign is genuine or not, but this seller is very highly regarded in the Art Deco collecting community. They are known for getting TOP dollar on their items, so potential buyers of this sign may not be gas collectors, but decorators and people with no knowledge of this type of item, other than they list it with deco graphics, so that opens up their collector base to take notice of the sign. If it is fake they should be pointed in the direction of this thread as I believe they would remove the listing as their good reputation could be at risk and they seem like good people in my dealings with them and wouldn't knowingly misrepresent the item. Just to give you an idea of their following, look at Ebay item 230772815407 , an old Amoco poster. They have sold many of these posters over the last year or more, but look what throwing the artist's name in the listing did with their bidders. This was bought more than likely as a decorator's piece, not by a old gas collector. Darin
