Someone has taken time to chip and pre-age this sign.
5 Bidders have high ebay numbers.
Is this a new realm of buyers looking to flip an otherwise common fantasy piece?

This sign: 160812292656 is the same production as this sign: 190679610932 Only shall we say "enhanced".

Sent this to the seller
Your sign is a reproduction, which I believe you know and don't want to say.  Either you or the previous owner beat up the sign to make it look original.  Just look at the paint on it.  Anyone with a 1st grade education would notice the paint on the D is nowhere near right.  Also look at the Reg US Pat Off, the R and E are connected.  Please remove your "as found" listing, it's a complete joke.

$259.00. I'd love to know what the buyer and bidders were thinking... maybe not.

Guys I've said it before and I'll say it again.... It takes two to tango.....

Not all sellers are dishonest and looking to deceive! A certain amount of blame has to fall on the buyers... If they are willing to enter this hobby and spend that type of money, they owe it to themselves to know what they are buying!! There are plenty of outlets for new collectors to educat themselves before making a purchase, all be it 300$ or 3000$.....

Just my 2 cents......

Fozzman, Looking at the items the Seller sold in the past... I don't see any gas and oil items.... I figure it is a case where the Seller was taken and they just passed along what they were sold and told...

I could be wrong, but I doubt it....
