Kinda makes me wish I had an Erie 70...... but so far I haven't even seen one in person yet. Are they that rare?

I understand they are $550.00 shipped. Pricey but what's a pump without a top.

...here's the email I received, regarding the tops:

JUST LETTING YOU KNOW , IF YOU HAVE OR NO SOMEBODY THAT HAS AN ERIE 70
- 91 THAT IS SET UP FOR A GLASS TOP AND CAN'T FIND ONE, I'M TAKING
NAMES , THESE ARE EPOXY RESIN JUST LIKE GLASS, WILL BREAK JUST LIKE
GLASS. THEIR FIRED IN A KILN JUST LIKE GLASS. A WHITE COLORED GLASS
POWDER IS ADDED FOR COLOR, LATER AFTER THE WHITE RUN I WILL MAKE SOME
COLORED TOPS, THESE ARE NOT EXACT COPIES , JUST A TOP THAT WILL FIT.

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

I've reproduced alot of old antique tractor parts in the past, easy to tell quality work when you see it, this is top notch! Now all I need to do is find an Erie pump!
