I went over and bought some signs from a lady and she has these light poles she would like to know value of? IF ANY??
They are still standing as the pics show. The 2 10 foot light poles are really art deco looking with cast aluminum tops. She has 2 extra glass tops for the light poles too...
The fluted light pole has a cool green porcelain shade and is about 16-20 foot tall?
This place was a tiny ma and pa gas station in the 20's and 30's just outside of ft wayne, indiana...
She would like to know if these have any value.
Thanks in advance...

Are they granite or exposed aggregrate concrete? If they are concrete, I would think that they modern lighting (25 yrs old at max).

If they are granite then I would value at $2500.00-$3000.00 for all three.

If they are concrete then they are worth around $1500.00-$2000.00 for all three.

I think the pole and light are worth $1000.00. I think these items also appeal to someone restoring a heritage home or decorating a yard with a certain theme or feel to it.

wow....thats great news for them...I think the light poles are a special concrete with really black specs thruout. The concrete doesnt have any wear or damage like you see after years and years of exposure. These lights were installed in the 20-30's according to the owners.
I walked into the garage to find all the walls covered in advertisement, both paper and tin signs(mostly rough cond)...
1 whole wall was hires rootbeer signs. I bought 5 of them that they had taken down and they are removing the rest for me as we speak!
here is a pic of the hires signs

I go back mon-tue to get more signs and tell them the good news...
I will get better pictures of the light poles and get pics of the extra light fixtures they have. Maybe I can get a date or pattent number off them? Ill update as I do....
