Looking for a base for my Bennett 566. What other bases would fit or is this base specific to this model. Thanks.

Here is a photo of the base I am looking for. For whatever reason the previous restorer/owner ground away the right side. Any help in locating one would be much appreciated.

Good question. It looks like it may have had a sawzall taken to it. I'll have to look for any evidence of a twin pump.

I have seen many times that farmers or whomever had the pump last would break or cut the base to run the fill pipe instead of putting it under the pump.

This is a twin base. His looks like they cut one whole end off.

A twin would have 2 of these bases unmodified. Mine was certainly cut and most likey for the reason keithia explained.

The Pic of the base that Badmotorfinger is looking for looks to be an angle iron frame, the Pic above is for a pipe frame. I took a 300 series Bennett base that used a pipe frame and did a little drilling to use on my 500 series Bennett. You might have to do the same thing for this base. Brady

Good eye Brady ,i have a few more of these Bennett 5 series part pumps & i really don't remember if there tube frame or angle iron "but i will check to see if i have the angle version" Brian "worst case" scenario drilling & tapping is a fairly easy process, either way if you need any parts for this pump just holler,i have plenty!

I didn't even tap mine, just drilled four holes, knocked a high edge down on the side, and used nuts and bolts - simple fix with a drill and cutting disc. Brady

Thanks Brady for that info. I didn't realize there was a pipe frame as well and I'm not sure how the angle frame would mount to the base. The hole left by the pipe frame looks large. Chris if you do have the angle version that would be great. Here is a better pic from above. Also the top right bolt has been welded on so I have some cutting and possibly some welding to do to attach the new base.
