Is anyone making the large type 1-3/4" O.D. cloth covered hoses? I have the brass ends and would like to use them on my project.

I do not know of any out there Albert ,most are 1" inlet or 3/4" ,i have complete & original [ 1 3/4"] white cloth hose w/brass fittings on both ends ,you could probably have a cloth piece made & tailored to fit the hose from a upholstery shop??? just an idea,,,,,might check with don @ vics 66 or G.P.H for the correct size you need !

Being 1 3/4" outer is most likely a 1 1/4" - 1 1/2" I.D.
Check w/ a company that makes up hoses or one that has Fire Hose [nylon covered rubber hoses].

Original type were a steel flex rubber coated w/ cotton outer covering. ALL new hoses I've seen were the nylon outer covering.

Wow DB, Your knowledge almost gives me a heartattack

I just bought a hose from here and got it the other day and it's 1 3/4 OD hose. The fittings that came on it are 1" and I realized my nozzle is a 1 1/2" so I'll have to upsize it, but if you already have the hose hardware I'm sure he will sell you hose without ends on it any length you need. The red/white/blue striped hose I got is NOS (so it leans a bit towards tan color than bright white).
