Repairing Tokheim 36b Cast Iron Top

This is tough to ask without a picture but here goes. The cast piece that the top of my 36b sits on has a broken front rim. Sadly, I do not have the missing piece. Is there a way to repair this without finding another top. I know I have seen a product used for filling prior to powder coating that can be used to repair broken cast. Similiar to JB Weld. If this doesn't make sense, I'll get a picture this weekend.

I'd try to buy a replacement top Casting [tbuckles or pumpdump], Before repairing.
I have a broken top I could cut a piece off IF you can have it welded/brazed on [need a pic to see how much you need]. Cost of shipping & $15.
