As ALL the books are not quite specific on this, I'm hoping someone may provide the info.

The 1946-1948 can versions are easy as are the cans starting in 1955 when SOCONY-MOBIL became the name.

In between, 1949-1954 are the block lettered MOBILOILs. In the lower red section are at least 3 phrase variations.
"PRODUCT OF A"
"MADE IN USA"
"TRADE MARKS RED US PAT OFF"

Does anyone know for certain the exact years these phrase veriations were used? Are they all from the same period but designate specific motor oil grades?

Don't waste time dragging out the books. They are too vague. LOL Thank you for any insight.
