Hi Guys,

Is it my imagination,or are pump plates coming back up in value?I don't really keep track of ebay, but I looked at it today looking for a Shamrock Kerosene (that'll be the day!!!)and it seemed to me they are up.Just a flurry of activity?Or a trend?

I had said this a while back and agree. I watch a lot of Mobil items and have seen the plates go up quite a bit in the last year. A 1947 plate I bought 2 or 3 years ago for $85 would go for about $150 or more now. Maybe since the high dollar signs are only getting more expensive more people are looking at the common smaller pump plates and it's driving the prices up now? Hard to tell if it's just a trend or the new rule?

The real high-end pump plates never took a hit that I could see like the high-end globes did. Smith-o-lene, life, Johnsons, all the Shells, never saw a decrease that I could see.

Two newbie's keep driving the price up with 5 dollar bids and one of them may be a schill.
