Picked these up at a swap meet. They're porcelain but I'm not sure what they are. The guy I got them from said he thought they were part of a larger sign.... They measure about 12" and have a 1" lip on all sides. Any ideas?

THOSE DEF LOOK LIKE THE WING TIPS TO A '56-'70 STYLE FLYING "A" SIGN WHEN THE WING TIPS DID INDEED EXTEND BEYOND THE EDGE (CIRCLE) OF THE SIGN.

I think your right! I rotated the picture 180 and it sure looks like the wing tips on some of the Flying A signs I googled. Now I need to find the rest of the sign!
