Does anyone sell the tall, diecut, Blue Sunoco signs typically found on the M&S 80 ad glass top pumps?

Thanks for the reply, Jack. I did phone him and they are not available anymore. I am shocked no one makes Sunoco signs for these pumps considering their popularity. It is the same for the script top, reproduction top but, no one make the sign and stripe.

I don't think those 'Diamonds' have been available for quite some time. I bought every one Pergl had left in stock years ago.

At that time, Pergl told me they were NOT going to be getting any more due to production problems. It seems that the production facility had problems keeping the yellow, yellow and the blue, blue.

I was told that when they got a shipment, they layed every one out and paired them up according to the yellow(s). Seems some were a bit on the green side and some were a dark yellow like they were supposed to be.

I bought the last 7 they had and moved the extras on e-bay. I kept a matched pair for Jodi's M&S 80 Ad Top Sonoco pump.

I know someone was reproducing the 'stripes' for the doors - but I haven't seen any for sale in porcelain in a couple of years.

There is one diamond on e-bay right now.
Sunoco 200 'diamond' (original) - 7237055926

I also have a note in my files that Jim Chapman was making Blue Sunoco & Dynafuel decal sets. If you need his contact information, drop me a note.

If that doesn't pan out, I can make you decals. They can even be mounted to magnetic material to mimic the porcelain originals.

Hope this helped.

Later . . .

Jim
