I checked my normal places to get an idea but could not find one like this.I know I've seen them before.I was wondering what this sign might be worth?There is some chips around the mounting holes other than that it looks to be in great condition with super gloss.

...this sign typically brings $85-125 in near mint to mint condition,from what I've seen on ebay and at the shows...

...what happened w/ the Shell globe? What was the deal with the base and what did it bring?

The Shell globe was in very nice condition it was not broken.There was a leather or cloth wrap arount the base. Bidding started at $400 at sold for $475 + 10% buyers premium. Too rich for my blood.

that particular sign... I would say.. $40-$60

Usually on ebay at least one or two at any given time.
