I got one just like that on my Wayne 60, all bent up, need to replace the glass which is gone but cannot remove the nut that holds the spinner glass.

56chiefstar--Best way to remove those nuts is with a spanner wrench designed to grab them BUT----take a small butane torch and gently heat the casting piece that the nut screws onto and you'll find that they come off rather easily. I could hang from the wrench before heating and afterwards, it came off with one hand!----KEVIN

Mine also stuck and someone already ruined one of the nuts using vise grips or a pipe wrench. Best place to get one of the wrenches designed for removal? Dave

Make your own with a Oxygen bottle shipping cap. Weld a socket [metric that you have no other use for] to the end & use a grinder to cut notches for the retainer nut.
