I couldn't believe these two auctions. And how many more like these have I missed? Am I missing something here?

i would not judge all of these auctions as they appear, there are schills & just about every other scam you can imagine, however thats not to say there are people who don't have the knowledge & will over pay......I hope there are these kinds of people with that type of disposable income.......

Its never how much you pay for something,

Rather,

How long you had to work to pay for it!!

That being said , do you really think it bothers someone to pay double what you would if they make ten times as much money as you??? (they actually get it CHEAPER than you do)You have to think, they may not have as much time to look for items as some folks and would rather pay more to get it than to start looking again...

Just a thought or my perspective..FWIW...

One minute I want to sell every sign I have because I think the fakes are going to ruin the hobby. They next minute I want to buy every sign in sight because I think they are being sold cheap.

Prices like these are fun but are not the norm.

If I could sell my signs for nearly triple what they are "worth", I'd sell every one of them in a heartbeat!!

Just maybe...the high bidder "pfsrrr" could use a good used Grizzly sign?? Heh, Heh....

You sure do seem hung uo on the fact that he wants 2000 dollars for that sign. Let it go already.

Ryan,
Well, an independent observer might say you're "hung up" on jumping in and instigating further controversy. Why not take your own advise and "let it go already"??!!

Ryan,
Is that supposed to be some kind of an implied threat?? Maybe you have the wrong temperment for this forum.

I am being neutral & want no catfight here but, it seems to me the guy can ask whatever he wants $1 to $1,000,000.00 & if he wants Pablo has the freedom to comment on it, after all it is a public forum...JMO

Roadrelics, I will respectfully disagree with you. I think that if someone puts up something in the for sale column and states a price that it is OK to say "did you mean $2,000 or $200?" I don't think it is OK to questions it's value. That's up to the seller to state. Now if the owner had asked if this was "worth" $2,000, then I say go ahead and comment. I don't think the "For Sale" column is the place to debate it. Just my 2 cents.
