Looking to buy National A38 ad glass with Marathon Mile maker script or Marathon ethyl. .. Any Marathon A38 ad glass considered.

For what it's worth...the popularity of the A38's were before Marathon predominantly used the Mile Maker branding...although you can sometimes find that ad glass. Marathon Ethyl would probably be more period correct. The earliest A38 glass had Marathon in green (1930's) and then the red Marathon runner with no script (1940) Several variations after that, usually involving the Marathon runner. Hope that helps. If you want some pics let me know I have a couple sets of the earliest glass.

Thanks for info, I have two original porcelain 38s, Both Marathon. Each has one original ad glass. One just says mile maker in red script. The B 38 has the Ethyl ad glass and marathon in Red.
