Hi Everyone,

Would like to hear other member's opinions on what color backing can should be made for my arrow. It is believed that the neon color is a red, I am in the process of getting this piece back to together. Any pictures you may have that reflect this style would be great. May be "open" for the can "liquor" or "garage"..

That arrow is similiar to a sign from the '60s I recognize, it was mass produced, used at motels, etc. Could be the missing tube in this sign, the guy that has this arrow needs you!

If it was me, I would make a can that said GARAGE and make the can two color. Make an outline in paint matching the arrow on the can would be nice. That way the sign "worked" with the neon on or off.

It would probably be a labor of love, not sure you could make anything on it. Better to have the old can, then the old neon, if that makes sense.

I guess you could make a can similiar to the one in the picture, where the arrow is just suspended in air?

Really you can do anything you like!
