Was wondering if anyone else had a problem with a new packing nut no going onto the pump mechanism of a mae west pump
I had this pump totally blasted so there is zero issue with rust causing the problem
I misted a light coat of black to keep it from flash rusting

After looking at it closer. The nut needs a good ways to go before it will ever think about engaging with threads on pump
I'm thinking I just threw 45 bucks down the drain

Well it seams it my fault for not reading.
I bought from g0h...and for what ever the reason. They have a packing nut for a Wayne 615 listed in the fry 117 section of parts. My fault for assuming that only parts for a fry117 would listed in that section
