Hi
Can anyone give me a price range on a Bowser 585? Appears to be all there with guts and in pretty decent shape.
If possible tell me what range to buy it and if restored how much can I sell it for?
Working on pics

Thanks
Mike

I bought one in a little better shape than this one 5 years for $500. Don't plan to sell! Based on what I see pumps going for $1500-2500 based on what you do with it.

A retail number for an unrestored Bowser in that condition goes for around $750 - $950. Make sure all the chrome trim is there. They rot from the back and fall off.

It’s very hard to give a number on a restored one for you. Depends how good the restoration is, the brand, original parts or repop, original pump plates or repop, and the platform you use to sell it (CL / FB, auction, etc). There are too many factors.

10 Years ago, I paid $200 for one in similar condition and then $30 for a 595 C for additional parts needed for restoration. I am curious what current value is.

I sell a lot of pumps. I believe most people will agree with my retail value estimate.

I didn't see that you posted a value for a restored pump. Did I miss something? I don't think I posted anything that questioned your opinion on an un-restored pump.

I thought you were ALSO wondering what current value of an UN-restored pump was and just missed seeing it in my post. I just read your post wrong. Sorry.

As for your restored pump, they can be all over the place. I just sell a lot of unrestored pumps. Someone else may be able to help better. Have a good one. - Steve
