We recently visited Old Car City, the classic car junkyard that doesn't sell parts, they charge just to walk around and take pictures. It's in northwestern Georgia, not far off of I-75. I could have spent all day, or multiple days really, looking around the 70 acres of 40s, 50s and 60s cars and trucks, rusting in a tall pine forest. There are numerous cars and trucks that were probably good builders back when they first were left in the woods. This has been on my bucket list to visit. Probably should be on yours as well.

That Riviera looks pretty straight - too bad it will turn into dust…

It took me a while to "get over" how many great cars and trucks here could have been saved years ago. But I had the realization that this place is not a failed junkyard, but rather a place where auto enthusiasts can visit and be amazed.
