Ended up restoring old oiler cans for a client. Came out nice but too much work, never doing again! Also got sucked into clear coating a lion statue somehow!

Yeah, absolutely. I was not going to make them but it was for a good repeat client. He kind of twisted my arm, but I've already told him I'm retired from oil can restoration! That's it, never again.

They are really time consuming. These cans are apparently always beat up as well, and good luck trying to fix the dents, can't reach inside to straighten out the cans.

Somebody on ebay does a really nice job on these and sells them crazy cheap. Maybe if you are really good at doing hand pinstriping, it's worthwhile. I do all my graphics using fine-line tape to mask, too much work.
