I have had 2 different oval Capcolite bodies that say Capcolite No 218 registered Us Pat # 1933866 advertising products cincinnati ohio made in USA on the flange on both halves of the body. They both have brass screws, and the plastic is very translucent like real Capcolites. The Gas Pump Globe Book//CD By Henderson/Benjamin indicates that the oval bodies don’t have any markings. I disagree, I think these are legit, does anyone have any input to confirm or deny? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Lee

Found this older thread. Anyone know the answer?
Did oval Capcolite bodies have no markings?
I'm looking at a oval globe and its marked Capcolite No. 218 as well.

I have a very original (bought from the station years ago) oval Capcolite Zephyr Gas globe. It is "marked". John
