Picking up a National A38. I want to lay it down in my pickup bed which has a cover. Can someone give me the length and depth of the base of this pump. I want to make sure I can close the cover over the pump. Thanks. Bob Verdo. If easier you can text me at 443-570-7018.

For future info: I picked up the pump and made the following measurements while it was lying down in the pickup bed. Width of base (hose side to crank side) 24 inches Depth (door side to door side) 17 and 7/8s
