Been doing a lot of restored lubesters this year! Thought we'd share some pictures, most of these were done to order...

Those are beautiful! It's funny how in this mix of perfect paint and polish my eyes will wander back to the one with patina on it!

Great work! Love the Kiekhaefer! I'm a sucker for red, white and black!
I'm curious, on the Polly one with cut out side. How did you finish edge where cut out? Rolled over? Just ground/sanded clean?

I'm curious, on the Polly one with cut out side. How did you finish edge where cut out? Rolled over? Just ground/sanded clean? thanks! On that Polly one there is a frame of 3/4” angle iron just inside of the cut out. Gives you some structure around the cut out and some depth for the glass.

Interesting, very nice work. Glad to see there is some demand for them. Around here not so much. Thanks! Most of these are custom orders, Jiffy lube going into a Jiffy lube office, Mercury to a marina. I occasionally do a lubester without an order, shell patina lubesters are for sale. It is a good blank canvas for advertising your company, so they are nice for businesses.
