Hi everyone. I'm trying to identify the globes in these pics. This was my great-grandfather's filling station in Clare County, Michigan. Probably late 40's-early 50's. I can't really read the globes and I can't find anything similar online. Hoping one of the experts on this blog recognizes the design. Thanks in advance!!

They are Cities Service globes. They are cloverleaf shaped globes. Hope that helps!

Must be pretty rare because I can't find pictures of another one that's just like it. Some are very close, but not exact.

Isn't it one of these Cities Service Oils Once Always Globes? http://www.gaspumps.info/gas-globe-photo-albums/cities-service/If it is another I'm sure one of the Cities Service experts here can chime in with more information.

I think the globes in the photo are the actual clover shaped one piece globes. Similar in design to the picture Randy added, but not round globes with glass lenses.

It is really hard to tell from an enlarged blurry picture to be sure! If you look at the stripes on the post, between the bottom two dark stripes the globe looks like it has a clover shape to my eye.
