Welcome Gary and sorry to hear about your loss. Outside the use of theft proof screws, I'm not sure how you could prevent this from happening. Cameras will at least show you who got them. Good luck with recovery. Let us know what globes they were in case they turn up for sale somewhere.

Only use repop globes outside, due to theft and weather. Another small suggestion would be to use theft-resistant screws (as mentioned above). If it’s a patina pump maybe add a small tack-weld between the screw head and globe holder (if it’s not a patina pump, just use touch up paint on the tack weld afterwards).
It wouldn’t stop a theft (they could still try to steal the lenses by themselves) but it sure would make it difficult.

Also... 220 going to the pump would make for a great video* 223 going to the pump would also help*
*those last two are jokes, I am not serious, do not do that. Lol

Welcome to Oldgas. Sorry to hear that some low life stolid your globes. I don't have any thing out side for that very reason. You good always hookup an electric fence charger to the pumps. Won't hurt anyone and sure would make it uncomfortable when they first tried to back out the screws if they weren't wearing rubber gloves.
