Yes, that was my thought, but is it really worth the time to store and drag around ?

I am a purist. If the guts are there I leave them. While the weight can be a real pain I feel there is less chance of them being toppled over. I have restored three pumps that are complete and they look as they should with all the internals. But that's just my anal ways! LOL

Yes, just gave them to my buddy the scrap guy. Not worth the hassle and space. Thanks all for the comments.
