I found this grease can and have not been able to get much info on the company or value. EBay search provided nothing. Google search provided a listing for the Sherwood Petroleum company in Brooklyn NY and an old ad for their auto oil from 1926. In the ad it looked like the square auto oil can may have had an old car graphic on it. Also did a search on this site without luck. Appreciate it if anyone has info on the company and value estimates. I realize if it is rare it doesn't necessarily mean it has great value. Thanks for your time!

IMO $25-50. No graphics and grease cans aren't so great unless they are 1#, 5#, or 10# with graphics.

Thanks for the info Coltex! Yeah I wish I had found the motor oil can that was in the ad I located for the company. I am sure there is one out there somewhere. That's what makes the hunt fun and I am always amazed to find such old tins still in good shape.
