Happy Easter. saw this on eBay and I have never seen this size of Texaco Marine sign....Size is 24 X 48. Thoughts on this? This eBayer has many auctions ever week and was just wondering.

That is Dennis B’s stuff. He used to NOT sell fakes knowingly. Now it’s questionable whether he knows or not, as he has a lot of fakes on eBay now. As far as his barn is concerned, he does have tons and tons of inventory (most of it is legit). He goes to tons of gas and oil shows and loads up on cheaper tin signs for eBay. He Fills his trailer to the max and spends a lot of money. He used to buy 15-20 signs from me at a time, then go to the next guy and buy a bunch of signs from him. He is actually a really nice person, I just hope he didn’t go to the dark side intentionally.

Hi Speedracer….I have watched several of their auctions and the stuff seems legit...at least for signs I am familiar with.....they had another item I was watching, now I am skeptical.....hope they stay legit....looking at their closed auctions they seem to do well...

They are not legit and have been knowingly selling fakes for years now. Please don’t let the “ nice guy” cloud your judgment

Sold for $387 - seller oldjunque74 who appears to list a lot of questionable signs. 66 negative feedback ratings in the last 12 months, but Ebays touts this seller as “One of Ebay’s most reputable sellers” - SERIOUSLY?? !!

That "Vintage 1930's Mobil Oil Topper Sign" had fake written all over it. No rust or patina for 80 + year old sign? Come on, how can some of these bidders/buyers be so uninformed. I also noticed you can't enlarge any of the photo's in their listings. 66 negative ratings in 12 months is a dead giveaway to something is amiss.

It's one thing to sell a fake once. But they do it over and over....
