Here's some great vintage gas/oil hobby reading, while you're spending more time inside these days. I have 14 issues of TIGER HIGHTEST Magazine for sale as a group. This is a seldom-seen petroliana hobby magazine from back in the early 1990's. This was a colorful, well-written publication put out by Tim Dye from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. These days Tim is the director of the national Pontiac-Oakland museum in Pontiac, Illinois.
I would say that the TIGER HIGHTEST Mag is similar to "Check The Oil" in appearance and content. It is a very well done publication from back in the day. One of the issues has photos and an article about the second IOWA GAS meet. You'll enjoy pictures of some of our current and departed Old Gas members.
Lots of good reading: 14 magazines in total, all in nice condition from our non-smoking home. Two issues from 1994, ten from 1995, and two from 1996. The price for all 14 TIGER HIGHTEST Magazines is just $30, plus the shipping. Thanks for looking. John

Ken, if you read my complete description in the first post, you would have spotted this information:
"This was a colorful, well-written publication put out by Tim Dye from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. These days Tim is the director of the National Pontiac-Oakland museum in Pontiac, Illinois."
If you'd like to attempt to get your money back from Tim, I'm sure you can reach him at the museum in Pontiac, Illinois. I had a pleasant, in-person chat with him about "old times" a couple of years back. Of course, he didn't owe me any money! John
