Newbie to the forum. I just recently picked up an Erie 129-22 pump at an auction and was curious to it’s history. The serial # is PC32879. It’s has the stainless corners. It was orange at one time and has Good Gulf graphics which do not appear to be original as I can see where there were circular (I’m assuming porcelain) emblems in the past.

Not sure if I’m going to restore or not. No one was bidding on it so placed a bid before my wife could stop me and won! I am just curious as to it’s year of manufacture and any other info. I searched your forum prior to posting in an attempt to not bother the experts with useless newb questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Be careful, before you know it they will multiply! Feel free to ask me any questions about the stepped top "Gulf Pumps".

Wow! Yeah I have too many project cars at various stages of restoration to finish before I can begin expanding my collection to your level. I regret bidding on this one honestly because they also had a visible pump that came a few lots later that didn’t sell because nobody bid on it. I was holding out for a couple of porcelain signs I ended up winning so I didn’t bid on the visible. What time frame would you estimate my Erie to be? I apologize for all the dumb questions. Just trying to learn...

I instantly regretted my decision. Only one person other than me was even bidding on the signs.

I may still have the ability to acquire the visible. What would be a fair asking price?
