Hi there folks!

So I've recently come across this small 'Safety Award' Esso crock. I have no idea what it's purpose was and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'd also be quite curious about the approximate value. Thanks for your time and hope to hear back from someone!

My guess is that it may be a promotional award given to Esso employees or dealers who reached a milestone in safety standards. Probably made within the past 50 years, not from the antique crock era.

I agree 100 percent with Jim. Its ceramic brown gives it away. Not enough paint{ View handle} to get a solid coat during firing. I was the ceramic guro when I was young teenager. Fine line when two colors meet to much and they run together during second firing too little and you get this. Being its stamped its not a one off deal that someone made for their own pleasure. That being said it has value to the Esso colector. Dollar figure its like everything else its worth what someone will pay.
