I just got this little project running. I used a 20 year old 17" flat screen monitor and hooked it up to a $10 Raspberry Pi computer board to make a time/weather/news display for my bedroom chest of drawers. Turn it on in the morning and it shows this with one click. The Raspberry Pi 0W computer is about the size of half a credit card. Already thinking about getting another one and building something else.

Pretty neat I might just go back to bed if I knew how cold it was.
