Hello everyone!
The pump of the month this month is the Bowser 555, 565 and 575 series of pumps! They were produced in the late 30's to the late 40's and are a fairly common pump. Nonetheless, they are pretty cool pumps! Please share yours or any info you may have on them!

Several years ago at the Dixie gas show, Paul Hittle, that owns Severn Gas Pumps, had this unusual 4 ad glass cast iron top for this Bowser pump and I purchased it from him. After I purchased this top, naturally I had to buy this pump (thanks Paul)😂😂. At other gas and oil shows that I have been to, I have looked for another top like this one but so far I haven’t came across one. I would be curious to know if anyone else has seen one or has one like this.

I never seen one of those tops in person but someone posted a picture on here years ago. Because of the lift off doors, large side access door and no side ad glass it looks like it is possibly a 555.

Thanks Matt for posting a picture of that top. Any thoughts on if this was a add on for add glasses advertising a certain brand of gas. The shoe box top was it also a add on. Thanks.

Here are a couple of photos of three 565s that I restored about 20 years ago. Sold them to two different buyers but they all ended with up with one collector. I still miss the one with the raised base and the roller bars for the hose. I haven't seen another one. Also my keeper red 565 that I haven't touched. Cheers, Don.
