The spacing of the Red, White and black looks a little phony to me. Is that the give away for you? Just trying to learn as I go here. Thanks

Hello Andrew
Thats a repop. I see you like Indian. I'm looking for a 1905 - 1906 Thor motorcycle engine. If you happen to know anyone. Indian used the Thor engine until 1907.

I think its a repro. Usually red looking rust indicates it was aged more recently. Also, if you can find a pic of a guaranteed original and compare there is usually less detail in the repros.

Thanks If Motocycle is used in conjunction with Indian I.e. Indian Motorcycle is incorrect. It should be Indian Motocycle. But Indian American's Pioneer Motorcycle would be ok. Regardless, the sign is fake. ![[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]](https://i.imgur.com/YAjm1U4.jpg)

Looking at old brochures, it seems when your refer to the company itself only you use the word Motocycle and the word motorcycle is acceptable for other applications. Like this 1941 brochure.
