This is going to be the first video from me starting out in 2020 released early. Vince is a great guy and he collects patina pumps that are complete and as original as possible. Please leave your comments either here or on my channel.

Thanks for watching another GPR film

Another fantastic film Rob. And thanks Vince for the tour of your pumps. Great pumps and history behind them.
I liken the arguement between guts and no guts to the old bud lite commercials. Two camps yelling at each other about the desirable attributes: "tastes great, less filling!"
In this case "No guts no glory Vs No guts no toxic smelly sludge"
Either way you've got a great pump!
Thanks once again guys.

Hello Guys, My Youtube channel exploded with views from this video. Will you please give me your opinion why?? Was it the content , Vince’s personality, the pumps running, my opening Vegas scene??? Cannot figure this out my own , please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
Rob

Well those of you that live in the western side of the country probably are wondering why the great interest. Around here all you have to say is Las Vegas and everyones interest is on point.JM2C worth.
'

Hijack: Been wondering and have meant to ask for sometime --does running these dry for extened time carry a chance of burning the pump up?

Good to know “The Vegas lure ” thanks

That is a very good question to ask. Running them dry can cause scoring in the pump housing but they will run and not burn out. . I will be posting a video very soon on the disassembly of a Bennett type 40 pumping unit showing the internals to all who are interested. I am rebuilding that Patina 541 Pump that was featured in two of my videos. I will make it fully functional and film the end results. Thanks for your feedback.

Rob

I think it’s because your videos are cool while staying very organic. They’re not scripted or overproduced and you always showcase quality petroliana! You feature treasures that inspire us to go out and search the back roads of America for lost relics of our past. I know there’s another pump out there covered in dust in a collapsing barn somewhere with my name on it. Now to just find it before Rob does! Lol
