Pioneer gasoline sign question.

I found this sign for sale today and would like some information about it. It is about 36" and dsp.

There were a handful of independent Pioneer stations back in the day. There was also a Pioneer gas out of Minnesota in the late 20’s with a script logo and an Indian. However, based on the colors of the sign, I believe you are looking at a sign from Pioneer Gas founded by Milton Oil Company, out of Carthage, MO. in 1924. Pioneer was a jobber for Dixcel, who also used the same colors for a period of time.

It’s a cool sign, if the price is decent, I would buy it (unless you already did, then- good for you).

Below are two pics of Pioneer globes that I found online, with the same colors, that I believe your sign belongs to.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
