Sorry it took awhile but the wife’s been real sick all day and I could not get outside to uncover it to check the Globe retainer inside diameter that I have on the pump now . The top lip is 7 1/8” opening but is necked down in the bottom to 6 1/8 “ . So to my surprise the crown globe should sit down in side the lower level of the existing ring .Thank you I Appreciate your efforts in locating it for me. Bob

Not sure what you mean by "necked down" and "lower level"?
If your globe ring is 7 1/8 opening, you have 2 choices.
You can use longer screws like Matt suggested or use an adapter.
I assume you intend to set it in there "as is" and won't need this adapter?

Thanks as I have never seen a Bennett 150 in person before and not many pictures of one just showing the top cap . I was unaware as to what it originally should look like . So thanks for everyone’s input . Seeing how this is only my fifth gas pump & all different brands , I am still learning . I have to honor and recognize all the senior members on this site whom have so much knowledge and experience and are willing to share it with us rookies. I remember on my first pump & never having any knowledge of pumps and cans and companies .Old Dick Bennett baby sat me in his own unusual way all the way thru my first restoration. What a guy miss his commentary , rough at times but too the point ! Oh well good to be a part of a top notch organization that shares a wealth of information .

Yes, you have a 6 to 7 inch adapter sitting on top your pump!
Pull that thing off and put it on the shelf for the future when you have a globe with a 7 inch base!
