Any idea of value of this tin? It is a sealed, but empty - with original top & bottom. It was sealed without any oil in it for display purposes. Would this make this more valuable than one that has been filled? Thanks for any input.

It is the very last of the North Star quarts used in the late 1950s to very early 1960s. See bottom row in photo. Yes it is a display quart since the top lid has no oil weight stamped on it. However I believe very few collectors would give you any more for it. Especially since empty quart cans be easily re-lidded these days even with blank lids. Also the number of collectors who only collect full cans are few so I personally wouldn't add a premium to a full can. Most collectors are buying the tin not the contents. I would say retail its worth $50 to $75. Cheers, Don.
