I recently bought this Studebaker Packard sign advertising Luster Seal. Just wondering if anyone has ever seen one and knows what era it might be from.

I found the product it was advertising (2nd picture) and I’m not sure if it’s in a metal or plastic bottle.

The sign was made by Stout, no date or code on it. It’s approximately 18 x 24”

Thanks for any info/help,
Steve

The Studebaker-Packard Corporation was the entity created in 1954 by the purchase of the Studebaker Corporation of South Bend, Indiana,
by the Packard Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan
The final Packard rolled off the assembly line in July 1958.

Randy and Metro,

Thank you for all of that great information!! I could not find this sign anywhere online. According to Randy’s dates, this sign was likely manufactured somewhere between 1954 and 1958.

I was going to guess the late 50’s or 60’s because of the font, and the use of the Chevron, but I had no idea.

Thanks again,
Steve
