How ironic! I sold my model 80 ad glass top a couple weeks ago, and while picking up my new 3' lighted Sunoco sign, I picked some ad glass panels. They are in a crate dated 1963. Guy told me that they are for the M&S 80 top. I've never seen these before! These are obviously vintage NOS. They measure 15 1/8" x 5 5/8". Are these Canadian? Other? Any thoughts on value? Kind of sorry I sold my Ad glass top. Rick

MS 80 ad glass are curved. I have my doubts that these are authentic unless maybe like you said, Canadian. Although I can't explain the box. But not MS 80 as far as I know!

I thought they are curved too! I was searching in the forums under: original ad glass & found these 2 sets of M&S/Wayne 80 ad glass sets for sale by 57-chevy?

Hmm? Now that I see those pics that look totally familiar seeing the straight glass with the curved stains.

Here is a set of your glass that sold on Ebay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/sunoco-vin...productions-new-old-stock-/352735186176?

When this listing came up, even though he says they are original, I took them for fake. I just don't know. Yours being in the box as they are, maybe they are real. If so, I would think Canadian is a good theory. I've just never seen them before anywhere and I have over 400 vintage Sunoco pics.

For the curved ad glass top, the original glass is rectangle, it's the original rubber that makes it fit.

Ok Tom,
I'm good with the M&S 80 ad glass top. Is there any original style replacement rubber out there that you know of? I am convinced these are original, but have you ever heard of Sun Gasoline?

Wonder if these are a great find... or just kind of cool?

Makes me want to find another ad glass top & use a set on my unrestored Wayne 90. I'm sure I can go to Jim Treadway & get some nice decals made up!

Tom is correct, the MS80 ad glass is rectangular. It just looks curved, due to the cutout. Now I have also seen the arched glass, but I think they are all reproductions.

Rick, I will have two of them at the Utica, MI Gasoline Alley show in downtown Utica this Saturday. That’s like 20 minutes from Waterford!! They are both straight as an arrow and have no rust whatsoever. There’s not even any surface rust because of all the paint. Here’s a pic of them....
